The Tachbrook Estate Residents’ Association said it was ‘saddened’ by the reports.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: ‘We were called at 12.07am today (4 June) to reports of a stabbing at Pimlico Underground station in Tachbrook St.

‘We sent ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer to the scene. We also sent a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance. The first paramedic arrived in around four minutes.

‘We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.’
