An arrest has been made after a man, 29, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries following a fight in Soho.
Officers arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and he remains in custody.
Police discovered a young man with injuries on Greek Street, W1 at 3.07 am on Wednesday morning.
A spokesperson for the Met said: “At 03.07hrs on Wednesday, 1 February officers came across an injured man at Greek Street, W1. Officers believe the man, aged 29, was injured during a fight with another man.
“London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended.
“The injured man was taken to a West London hospital where his condition is currently life threatening.”
A crime scene and cordons remain in place on Greek Street.
